He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Franklin and Dollie Deaver Alphin; his siblings, Ethel Mae Jenkins, Margie Lee, Josephine Alphin, Ronald, Gilbert and Morris Alphin; and his grandson Van Alphin.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Wilson Alphin; and his children, Barbara Butts (Shane) of Chambersburg, PA., David Wayne Alphin (Deborah) of Clinton and Liston Franklin Alphin of Clinton. He is also survived by Four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
