She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lester and Gladys Deans Fulghum; her husband John T. Denny, III (Jack); and her brother Thomas Fulghum. She is survived by: her daughters, Deanna Denny Weaver (Melvin Harris) of Clinton and Joy Denny Dodson (James Allen) of Dunn; her grandchildren, Logan James Dodson, Will Thomas Dodson and Holly Marie Weaver; her sister Nancy Finch (Rudy) of Wilson; and her sister-in-law Martha Denny Jeter (Melicent Jeter) of Wilmington.
