She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Hudson and Betty McLamb Hudson; and her brothers, Julious, Ray and Arlie B. Hudson.

She is survived by: her husband Talmadge Weeks; her children, Anthony Weeks (Sharilyn Weeks) of Clinton, Kathy Capps (Charles Capps) of Clinton and Diane Weeks (Janine Talbot) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Jaime Hicks (William), Jay Jones (Krista), Joseph Weeks (Maysun) and Stephanie Johnson (Anthony); and her great grandchildren, Helena Hicks, Chadwick Jones and Jayleigh Rayn Johnson. She is also survived by three children and being blessed with four grandchildren, and later three great-grandchildren.
