With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Yancey of Clinton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Addison Ezzell and Ida Ezzell (Leonard); and her sisters, Letha Yancey and Iris Parker. She is survived by: her son Scott (Cathy); her granddaughter Taylor-Quinn Yancey; her son Trent (Carol); her grandson Tyler (Yudy); and her great grandchild Mateo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Memorials may be made to Rowan Baptist Church at 701 Rowan Road Clinton, NC 28328.

“Scott And Trent, So sorry to just learn about your mother’s passing. She was a great lady and supportive of me and my family when we first came to Clinton. When she made her trips to Ridgecrest she would call or visit my mom and check on her to see how she was doing. She will be missed by a great many of us that considered her as a close friend and co-worker. RIP Lucille. Pete Connet”
