She was predeceased by: her parents, Lebron Quincy Fann and Olivia Spell Fann; her husband Lester Lee Barnes; and her sisters, Mary Peace Capps and Willa Dean Daughtry.

She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Sue Holden, Gloria Daughtry (Kent) and Leslie Kent Barnes (Vivian); her grandchildren, Brett Knowles, Candace Mosteller, Dillon Barnes and Lynsey Barnes; her great grandchildren, Holden Mosteller, Hudson Mosteller, Kace Knowles, Reese Knowles, Meredith Hargett, Claire Hargett, Preston Kirkman and Hollyn Kirkman; and her sisters, Virginia "Peggy" Lambert and Frances Annette Cannady (Delmar). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
