With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mamie Vann of Clinton, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Rackley and Rhoda Tyndall Rackley; her husband Jimmie Ray Vann; her son Dennis Ray Vann; and her siblings, Lucille Davis, Revah Parker, William "Buddy" Rackley, Freeman Rackley, Idell Tyndall, Irene Williams, Macy Blackburn and Mozelle Rackley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
