It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Dennette Cannady of Clinton, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Franklin Butler, Sr. and Myrtle Faye Pearsall Butler; her brothers, Robert Franklin Butler, Jr. and Ronnie Allen Butler; her nephew Michael Andrew Butler; and her father-in-law Anthony Darrow Cannady.
She is survived by: her husband Nelson Cannady; her children, Victoria Paige Cannady and Anthony Glenn Cannady; her grandchildren, Maddox McCullough and Saylor Quinn; her sister Crystal Strickland (Junior); her mother-in-law Sudie H. Cannady; and her sisters-in-law, Penny Butler and Kimberly Simmons.
