He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne of Louisiana, Carolyn Williams of North Carolina and Maliki (Cinda) of North Carolina; his aunt Willa B. Marshall of California; and his uncle Bobby Johnson of Louisiana. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
