She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Blue Edwards and Jethreo Edwards; her husband Willie Jr. Owens; her son Milton Owens; and her siblings, James Edwards, Jerry Edwards, Thurman Edwards and Ruby Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jewel Owens (Frank) of Clinton, NC, Eldress Kathy Evans of Clinton, NC and Daffie Brooks (Earl) of Clinton, NC; and her sister-in-law Ruthie Edwards of Fredericksburg, VA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
