She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Sloan Johnson and Sallie Irene Roberts Johnson; and her husband Joseph "Joe" Thomas Parker. She is survived by: her children, Margaret C. Dixon (Tom), Deborah C. Love (Lew), Joel Thomas Parker, Glenn Cooper Parker (Tammy) and Alan Johnson Parker (Jeanine); her brothers, James Johnson and Don Johnson (Linda); and her sisters-in-law, Esther P. Delbridge, Peggy M Parker and Linda M Parker. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church in Clinton, NC.
