She was predeceased by: her father Rufus Franklin Daughtry; her husband Bennie Giddens; and her brothers, Rufus Clifton Daughtry and Gary Lynn Daughtry. She is survived by: her mother Melva Elizabeth Wise Daughtry; her daughter Sarah Giddens (James Boykin); her sisters, Joan Daughtry Reason and Sue Daughtry Spell (Ken); and her grandson Dakota James Boykin.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to The American Cancer Society.
