He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Theodore Owen, Jr. and Bessie Crumpler Owen Horne; his stepfather Oscar Horne; his great grandchild Simon Riley Todd; and his brother-in-law William C. Street (Sherry).
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Street Owen; his children, Millard Theodore Owen, IV (Robin) of Clinton, Wendy Dixon (Joe) of Clinton and Melea Hollingsworth (Waylon) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Kayla Royal, Scarlett N. Owen Todd (Jeffrey), Jordan Dixon, Walker Dixon, Olivia Hollingsworth and Alaina Hollingsworth; his great grandchild Elias Jay Todd; his brothers, Keith Owen (Brenda) of Roseboro and Rex Owen (Susan) of Stedman; and his brother-in-law Kendall Street. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
