With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Swinson Gainey of Clinton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Swinson and Esther Grantham Swinson; and her husband James Howard Gainey. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Gainey, Jr. (Judy) and Carolyn Weeks; her grandchildren, Chris Medlin (Lorie), Renee Woods (Josh), Brian Gainey (Amy) and Michelle Gainey (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Riley Woods (Chase), Preston Medlin, Erin Beasley, Abbie Beasley, Trey Gainey, Skyler Cason (Luke), Blair Gainey, Brookes Gainey and Baylor Gainey.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 1131 N US Hwy 421, Clinton, North Carolina 28328.
