She is survived by: her children, Jessica Brewington of Fayetteville, NC and Eric Conway of Clinton, NC; her mother Isabell Oates of Clinton, NC; and her siblings, Pearline Oates of Newton Grove, NC, Teresa Johnson of Clinton, NC, Anita Oates of Clinton, NC, Kathy Combs of Atlanta, GA, Mark Oates of Clinton, NC and Keith Oates of Clinton, NC.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church (401 Lisbon St, Clinton, NC 28328).
