He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur King and Pauline Elizabeth Wilson King; his wife Dorothy "Dot" Barber King; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Snuke" Honeycutt and Pete King.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher King (Toni) of Rose Hill and Adam King (Faye King) of Clinton; his niece Sandy Minnich of Hampstead; his grandchildren, Jessica King Blanck (Lucas), Tara King, Tyler King, Brittany Febres (Kristen Hayes-Febres), Jenna King Williams (Michael) and Abby King; and his great grandchildren, Chasen Guy, Rivers Wrenn, Anna Wrenn, Gabriel Blanck, Levi Powell, McKaylynn Powell, Dakota Powell, Michael Williams and Kelley Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 3790 Faison Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.
