As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edward Geist and Elizabeth Jeffries Geist; and his wife Molly Joan McCann Geist. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Carter (Robbie); his grandchildren, Junius Faircloth, Kendallynn Canady (Ayden), Tyler Carter (Kaitlyn) and Megan Morrison (DaCorris); and his great grandchildren, Ashton, Ava Grace, Scottlynn, Kolson, Vannesa and Denver. He is also survived by five siblings.
