He is survived by: his parent Cecille Kornegay Best; his wife Sylvia Best; his sons, Dennis Nelms and Michael Nelms; his mother-in-law Minnie Arnette; and his brothers, Doug Best and Michael Best (Amy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
