He is survived by : his children, Jamez'Burke, NaKeya Burke Brailsford (Mackenzie) and Terrell Burke; his siblings, Thomas Burke, Carolyn Burke, William Burke, Dorothy Burke and Cynthia Chandler (Brian); and his grandchildren, DeVante McAdoo, DeShawn Lyles, NaKenan Brailsford and Cameron Burke. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary Chapel (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
