We are sad to announce that, on October 1, 2020, at the age of 92, Robert Underwood of Clinton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Jerry Underwood; and his siblings, Perry Underwood, Louise Stephens and Annie Ruth McLean. He is survived by: his children, Mark Underwood (Linda) of Clinton, Deborah Lucas (Nick) of Faison and Marlene Underwood (Keith) of Clinton; his daughter-in-law Sue Underwood of Clinton; his sister Betty Grooms of Charlotte; his close friend Doris Tyndall; and his grandchildren, Shannon Williams (Brent), Niles Lucas (Tara), Camaron Bryan (Morgan), Heather Straughn, Amy Tyndall (Mark), Jordan Underwood (Meagan), Tyler Underwood, Brittany Clark (Scottie) and Brandon Underwood (Stormie).

Due to Covid-19, the family requests social distancing and everyone to wear masks at the service.
