He is survived by: his wife Leslie Anne Bownik Mitchell; his daughter Nicole Victoria Mitchell Steen (Philip); his grandson Owen; his brother Douglas Mitchell; his daughter Meredith; his grandchildren, Tyler, Christian, Chandler and Tommy Mitchell; his children, Justin, Peyton and Madison; his siblings-in-law, James J. Bownik and Linda Marie Bownik Panasuk (Steve); his children, Kara and Brian; and his adoptive son George Williams.
