He was predeceased by: his parents, Claxton Pugh Pearson and Rhee Boyette Pearson; his mother-in-law Ann Smith; and his brother-in-law Robbie Cashwell. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Mitchell Pearson; his children, Courtney Weber (Chris) and Cody Pearson (Madison); his grandchildren, Rhiannon Weber and Lydia Weber; his siblings, Ronald Pearson (Linda), Glenn Pearson (Pat), Gerry Pearson (Myra) and Ellen Smith (Ronnie); his close friends, Jimmy Cantrell and Terry Potter; his father-in-law Larry Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Dwayne Cashwell, Donna Byrd and Angie Caprise (Bob). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Epworth Methodist Church (5876 Garland Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
