With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Lantz Lackey Sr. (Clinton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hayden and Edna Louise Helms Lackey; his former wife June Johnson Lackey; and his brother Robert Milton Lackey. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Collins Lackey; his sons, Thomas L. Lackey, Jr. and Keith Hayden Lackey (Heather) of Emporia, VA; his granddaughters, Amanda Adams (Matthew), Amber Starks (Everett), Kaylee Lackey, Madison Lackey and Hayden Lackey; and his great grandchildren, Madison Adams, Daisy Adams, Alexis Adams and Wesley Adams.
