It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Dixon McArthur of Clinton, North Carolina, born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Shirley Anne McArthur; his parents, Margaret McArthur and Charles McArthur; and his brother Wilson Cooper McArthur. He is survived by : his children, Jerry McArthur (Deirdre) of Greensboro, NC and Anne Jobe (Jim) of Franklin, NC; his siblings, Douglas McArthur (Barbara) of Arlington, Linda Ann Parker (Clinton) and Bennie McArthur (Chris); and his sisters-in-law, Judy Johnson (Tommy) of Eden Prairie, MN and Robbie McArthur of Provo Utah. He is also survived by Eight grand-children and two great-grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Mount Moriah United Methodist Church (1414 Odom Rd, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
