He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Archie and Lillie Lee Sessoms Spell; and his former wife Marilyn Spell. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Spell; his children, Emily Sims, Crystal Spell of Raleigh, Tony Lee Spell, Jr. (April) of Clinton and Christopher Sykes (Stefani) of Mt. Olive; his siblings, Sylvia Blinson of Clinton and Wilbert Earl Spell (Lucy) of Youngsville, NC; and his grandchildren, Hadley Sykes and Camille Spell.
