He was predeceased by: his brother Kendell Scott Strickland; his grandparents, Shelvia Britt and James "Buddy" Strickland; his stepmother Amber Strickland; and his cousins, Thomas and Morgan Jones.
He is survived by: his parents, Scott Strickland of Mt. Olive and Kimberly Britt Lassiter (David) of Beulaville; his daughter Emma Tyler Strickland; his grandparents, Carl Britt of Faison and Geneva Strickland of Mt. Olive; his aunt Wendy; and his uncle David Jones of Faison.
