Velsa Blanche Spencer Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 21, 2023, at the age of 76, Velsa Blanche Spencer (Clinton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Magrane Wallace Lilley and Thomas Cecil Lilley; her sister Cecilia Lilley Swain; her husband Wilson Spencer of Faison; her sons, Joshua Spencer of Wendell and Jacob Spencer of Charlotte; her daughters-in-law, Amy Spencer (Josh) and Marilyn Spencer (Jake); her grandchildren, Lucas Spencer (Josh), Keeley Spencer (Jake) and Cameron Spencer (Jake); her brother Cecil Lilley (April) of Harkers Island; and her brother-in-law Elwood Swain of Bath. She was also cherished by numerous extended family, friends, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Velsa's beloved family would like to encourage those that loved her to help defeat the cruel scourge of Alzheimer's Disease by donating in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association or other worthy Alzheimer's organization.
