It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velva Dean King Oliver (Clinton, North Carolina), who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Robert and Bettie Blanche Lockamy King; her husband Hugh Kendall Oliver; and her brother Thomas King. She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy O. Gainey (Ray) of Clinton, Betty O. Warren (Leon) of Surf City and Becky O. Lockamy (Jimmy) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Joshua Warren (Lauren), Justin Warren (Melissa), Thomas Warren, Casey J. Avery (Johnathan), Blair G. Colglazier (Allen) and Leslie G. Wainscott (Trent); and her great grandchildren, Ava, Layton Wainscott, Mady, Cooper Avery, Matthis, Nolan Colglazier, Hugh, Olive and Scarlett Warren.
