He is survived by: his son Brian Herring of Huntington, NY; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Curtis of Huntington, NY, Jemiah Curtis of Huntington, NY, Nehemiah Curtis of Huntington, NY and Naomi Curtis of Huntington, NY; his stepchildren, Antoinette Jones of Huntington, NY and Anthony Jones of Huntington, NY; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Jones of Huntington, NY, Anthony Jones Jr. of Huntington, NY, Sydney Jones of Huntington, NY, Nasally Jones of Huntington, NY, Kyle Juin of Huntington, NY and Kayla Juin of Huntington, NY; his siblings, Evelyn Poteat (Joe) of Clinton, NC, Lelia Sutton (late Walter) of Clinton, NC, Lynda Newkirk (Lee) of Hope Mills, NC and Willie Herring of Clinton, NC; and his sister-in-law Mattie G. Herring of Huntington, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
