He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Prestage and Lorraine Prestage; and his siblings, Duane J. Prestage (Bud), Richard Prestage (Dick), Joanne Lewis and Julie Holtom.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha; his sons, Drs, Scott J. Prestage (Joy) of Clinton, NC and John L. Prestage (Janet) of Clinton, NC.; his grandchildren, Kate Prestage Poplin (Dave), Zach Prestage (Madelyn), Max Prestage, Billy Prestage, Stephanie Prestage, Dr. Kaylin Prestage, Ben Prestage, Bill Prestage and Vanna Prestage; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Claire Poplin and Marsha Prestage; and his close friends, Dr. Bob Caviness and Jimmy MacGill.
Bill Prestage's own personal demise was due to him contracting Covid twice while attending funerals to honor a beloved family member and friend.
