He is survived by: his wife Linda Bannerman; his children, Tonya Mathis of Fayetteville, NC, Tabitha Bannerman of Clinton, NC and Rodney Bannerman of Charlotte, NC; and his brothers, Winfred Dexter Bannerman of Clinton, NC and Christopher Douglas Bannerman of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Worley Funeral Home (639 Lisbon St, Clinton, NC 28328). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen United Holy Church (54 Evergreen Church St, Salemburg, NC 28385). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Howard Cemetery.
