Billy Gardner Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Billy Gardner of Clyde, North Carolina. Billy, born on June 28, 1940, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fillmore Gardner and Nan Gardner; his daughter Nannett Finger; and his brothers, Phillip Gardner, Harold Gardner and George Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gardner; his daughter Tamyra Stamey (Bobby); his grandchildren, Matthew Sizemore, Savannah Sizemore, Jake Finger and Hannah Finger; and his siblings, Georgia Tate, Virginia Sprouse, Cecil Gardner and Mike Gardner. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; two step daughters; four step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (23 Phillips St, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
