She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Zeb Henry Smith and Frankie Teague Smith; her parents, Mary Jane Case and Robert Eugene Case of Haywood County; her sister-in-law Lynette Messer Case of Greenville; and her uncle Keith Smith (Tracy) of Greensboro.
She is survived by: her children, Casey Sherrill (Michael) of Hudson and Megan Bruffy (Trevor) of Deep Gap; her grandchildren, Lucas, Emmalyn, Annabelle and Jackson; her brothers, Tony Case of Mount Holly and Marcus Case of Etowah; her aunt Shirley Ingle of White Pine, Tennessee; her uncle Michael Zeb Smith (Barbara) of Gold Canyon, Arizona; her nephew Matthew Case of Greenville; and her niece Hannah Case (Katharine) of Reidville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
