She was predeceased by: her husband Howell Oxner; and her parents, Arthur Smith and Reba Smith. She is survived by: her nieces, Pam Ferguson of Waynesville, Reba Ann Gibson (Kenneth) of Morganton and Sheila Brookshire of South Carolina. She is also survived by several great nieces and two great nephews.
