He is survived by: his wife Keely; his children, Caleb and Kaylee; his mother-in-law Jean Goodwin of Canton; his sisters-in-law, Elaine Rhymer (Michael) of Waynesville and Gina Gaspard (Scott) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his nephews, Lance Pierce (Polya), Beau and Powell Gaspard of Baton Rouge; his aunt Melissa Welch of Canton; his uncle Bruce Welch (Marlene) of Clyde; and his cousin Amie Owens of Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Epilepsy Research Innovation Fund at Duke University's Department of Neurosurgery. Checks can be made payable to Duke University with "In memory of Danny Bryson" in the memo line.
