Elise DeLozier Palmer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elise DeLozier Palmer (Clyde, North Carolina), who passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cleveland DeLozier and Roxie Woody DeLozier; her sons, Joseph William "Jody" Palmer and Christopher Joseph Palmer; and her siblings, Hazel DeLozier Morris, Alwayne Delozier Williams, Ruth DeLozier Nicholson, Hugh Helton DeLozier and Charlotte DeLozier Harrison.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Hardy Palmer; her daughter-in-law Robin Strickland Palmer; her grandchildren, Jesse Ann Evans, Casey Rebecca Palmer, Richard Earl Malloy III (Maia) and Taylor Ryan Malloy; her great grandchildren, Kahlan Stephanie Malloy, Zeke Tyler Malloy, Salem Ryan Malloy, Emilia River Malloy and Monroe Palmer Malloy; her pet Muriel Hemingway; and her close friends, Joann Green and Elise.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Crabtree United Methodist Church (5405 Crabtree Rd, Clyde, NC 28721). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
