She was predeceased by: her sisters, Rachel Smith and Joan Cartner. She is survived by: her children, Tim Finger (Carleene) of Lake Junaluska, Lynne Finger of Waynesville and Carole Finger (Jerry Stensland) of Rutherfordton; her nieces, Lisa Hipp of Greensboro, Ann Smith of Asheville and Sharon Smith of Raleigh; her nephew Stuart Cartner of Dallas, Texas.; and her friends, Karen and Mike Davis.
