He was predeceased by: his parents, George Douglas and Sally Louise Fullbright Plemmons; his wife Tina Pinion Plemmons; and his brother Douglas Plemmons. He is survived by: his daughter Lasha Plemmons (Michael) of Waynesville; his stepchildren, Crystal Plemmons (Brian) of Waynesville and Martin "M. J." Ross (Jen Gustin) of Canton; his siblings, Robert Plemmons (Wanda) of Clyde, Martha Jane Wyatt (Frank) of Waynesville, Doris Griffin of Waynesville, Shirley Cagle of Clyde and Mary Jo Lewis of Waynesville; and his grandchildren, Owen Plemmons, Jaylon Gustin and Makayla Butler of Clyde. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Smoky Mountain Cremations and Funeral Service, LLC (3264 Broad St, Clyde, NC 28721). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smoky Mountain Cremations & Funeral Service (3732 Soco Rd, Maggie Valley, NC 28751).
