He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Brown of Hurricane Creek and Jessie Mae Brown (Shelton) of Waynesville. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Poole (Betty); his children, Sara Brown (Jude Rutledge) and Andy Brown (Becky); his grandchildren, Caroline, Jack and Wyatt; his nephews, Joe Brown (Judy), Mark Brown (Ann) and Jim Poole (Betzi); his great-nephew Luke Brown; his niece Ellen Ekevag (Per); his great-nieces, Amy Jo Brown, Anna Ekevag, Agatha Poole and Ida Poole; and his brother-in-law Mike Poole (Roz).
