She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Caldwell and Pauline Caldwell; her husband Hobert Brown; her son Terry Brown; her siblings, Bill Caldwell and Elizabeth Sorrells; her brother-in-law Albert Lanning; and her grandson-in-law Mike Chambers.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Trantham (Jim); her great grandchild Savannah Chambers; and her siblings, Jean Lanning and Ernest Caldwell (Janice). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Canton (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Green Hill Cemetery (25 New Leicester Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806).
