She is survived by : her children, Nelson Jackson (Pam) of Dunn, Susan Parker (Mike) of Four Oaks and Sandra Lee (Scott) of Dunn; and her brother Carl Ammons (Anne) of Garner. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
