He was predeceased by : his parent Kirby Augusta; his son Michael Manning; and his siblings, Doris Kolub, Edwin Manning and Leon Manning.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Williams Manning; his children, Annie Holmes, Bonnie Glover, Chuck Manning and John Manning; and his brothers, Noah Manning and John Manning. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three-great-great-grandchildren.
