He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Monroe and Bessie Ann Stewart; his wife Gwendolyn Dixon Stewart; and his siblings, Alice, Naomi of Eurice, C. M. and Freddy Mack.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynne. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Prospect Free Will Baptist Church (554 N McKinley St, Coats, NC 27521). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
