She was predeceased by: her parents, George P. Jernigan of Colerain and Melissa White Jernigan of Colerain; and her husband Garner Ray Hill. She is survived by: her children, Turnage Hill (Daisy), Wayne Hill (Mary Beth), Randy Hill (Julie), Cenith Davis (Gerald), Betty Slaughter (Arthur) and Bonnie Newcomb (John); and her sisters, Nettie White, Ruby White and Virgie Mizelle. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
