He is survived by: his wife Joy Mizelle of Colerain; his daughter Tracy Mooring (John) of Rocky Mount; his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Pierce of Colerain and Allie Wirth (Charles) of Colerain; his brother Harold Mizelle (Catherine) of Winterville; and his grandchildren, Caroline Mooring, Callie Mooring, Michael Pierce and Luke Pierce.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Baptist Church (740 Bethany Church Rd, Colerain, NC 27924).
