With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Westmoreland (Colfax, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Westmoreland and Lillie Westmoreland. He is survived by: his wife Catherine B. Westmoreland; his daughter Teresa W. Powell (Bob) of Colfax; his grandchildren, Emily P. Pinion (Matt) of Colfax and Kevin R. Powell of Kernersville; his great grandchildren, Morgan Pinion, Caroline Pinion and Everleigh Powell; his brother-in-law Cyrus Bowman of Colfax; and his sibling's children, Sheridan Bowman of Greensboro and Nancy Sipe (Joe) of Colfax.

“Reid was amazing! I was very blessed to be his friend. He had such great passion for cars mostly Fords. we had the honor of building two cars for him when I was at Pettys Garage. a challenger and a 1000 hp mustang, it was something to see this 80 year, old smoking the tires of that Mustang as he left the garage. Reid always had a great smile and laugh. I will miss him... Rest in peace my friend”
