He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tawney Ross, Sr. and Stella Gertrude Ashley Ross; and his wife Clara Mae Alt. He is survived by: his brother Eldon Wayne Ross; his sons, Robert Alan Ross (Joy) and Gary David Ross; his grandchildren, Jennifer Ross Buckner (Justin) and Robert "Bobby" Brandon Ross; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Claire Buckner and Katherine Marie Buckner.
