Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betsy Bennett of Columbia, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 83, on October 10, 2025. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Betsy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Bennett and Mabel Snibbe Bennett; and her siblings, Madge Morris of Columbia and Richard H. "Dick" Bennett (Sandy).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Soundside Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (2607 Sound Side Rd, Columbia, NC 27925). A reception will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Soundside Missionary Baptist Church Missions and Children's programs, 422 Bridgepath Road, Columbia, NC 27925.
