He was predeceased by: his mother Bobbie Jo Barnes; his grandfather John H. Barnes; his aunt Mary Barnes; and his cousins, Bambi Lassiter Barnes and Najee Lassiter Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Aja Blount; his father Edwin Blount Sr.; his siblings, Kimberly Barnes, Courtney Blount, Jarod Spencer and Christopher Betts; and his nieces and nephews, Amani, Acaia, Dajour, Elijah and Aseyah. He is also survived by aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
