He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stewart Hassell and Nina Swain Rowe. He is survived by: his brothers, Chris Hassell (Ginger) of Columbia and Lynn Hassell of Columbia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cabin Swamp Church of Christ (3076 Newlands Rd, Columbia, NC 27925). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
