He is survived by: his close friend Buster Williams; his children, Sammie E. Williams, Jr. (Lorie) of Washington, Sherry W. Etheridge (Jay) of Engelhard and Pepper Williams of Washington; his grandchildren, Destinee Williams, Drake Etheridge, Dalton Etheridge (Chloe) and Deacon Etheridge; his great grandchildren, Braelynn Mayers and Sunny Etheridge; and his siblings, Willie Williams (Shelby) of Scranton and Naomi Spivey of Chesapeake, VA..
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Williams Family Cemetery (300 Church St, Swanquarter, NC 27885). A reception will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 200 Main St, Swanquarter, NC 27885.
